My daughter and I spent the weekend at Hotel Stry for her 30th birthday celebration. Everything was exceptional. The room is spacious, stylish and has every amenity you may need. The added balloon bouquet to the room was a very special touch! Staff were friendly, helpful and really made you feel welcome and taken care of! We took advantage of the Spa which is accessible via the foyer (in a provided robe if you choose!) The “O” restaurant/bar had a private event in the evening, but staff accommodated prepping us a meal to go. Bar staff were friendly and the selections were great! Location provided several great coffee shops, restaurants, a beautiful bookstore, and boutique shops. Walking to the river both day and evening provided very pretty views. Can’t wait to see it in the summer! We both look forward to a return visit to Hotel Stry. I highly recommend this for couples, girls nights or family/friends gatherings if you can book early enough to reserve all 6 rooms. Well done on this beautiful place!
The STRY has hosted our business partners every time they are in town. Our team now asks to stay at the STRY. The rooms are spacious, and the beds so comfortable. The details in each room make the stay feel like a real getaway and special! The team at the STRY are so accommodating and friendly. The location is perfect, close to great dining and wonderful cafes, and the beautiful riverfront in Amherstburg. We highly recommend the STRY hotel!
We had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. The room was absolutely beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully designed, which made it feel both comfortable and special. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed, which really made the experience even better. We also spent some time enjoying drinks at the bar, which had a great atmosphere and was a perfect way to relax in the evening. The surrounding area is lovely as well, making it a great place to explore and spend time outside the hotel. It was a fantastic stay and we would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
Had a great time here. Rooms were very unique and comfortable. Bar had great drinks with awesome staff and the owners are very sweet and welcoming. The atmosphere is so charming and fits right in with the towns history. Will definitely be back and recommend others go for the night, a few drinks or an event.
Wonderful stay! Rooms are beautiful with many thoughtful touches. The whole place is so well designed from a functional and aesthetic perspective. There’s a spa where you can get massages and facials, a convenient cafe and even a cocktail lounge that you don’t even have to go outside for (key for winter!). They had a clean pack and play crib for my little one so we didn’t have to bring ours which was wonderful. The management really cares about the people that stay there. They provided guidance and hospitality that was above and beyond. Truly one of the best hotel experiences ever.
I wish I could give this place 100 stars! What an incredibly beautiful and well appointed hotel. No detail is spared and the rooms are fun/funky, so spacious and comfy. Bed and pillows are a dream and the bathroom and shower incredible. We stayed in Chapter 202 for a girls night and just loved it. Not to mention there is incredible coffee and treats at the Tellers Cafe and delicious cocktails and food at The Missing O. The family that owns this business provides top notch service and makes you feel like you are right at home there. Definitely put this one on your list if you have plans for a beautiful getaway in Amherstburg! I know I plan on going to visit again soon!
My husband and I spent Valentine‘s evening at Hotel Stry. We stayed in the beautiful Chapter 204 room and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We also enjoyed a light lunch before checking in and a before dinner drink at The O. The staff is wonderful and very engaging. Can’t wait for there to be more things to come on the street in the future!
